That's what you do when there's something you want to change about yourself. Our behaviors are results of our repeated pattern of thoughts. In short, you are defined by your habits, and your habits are pattern of unconscious thoughts and behaviors which automatic trigger themselves given the right moment.
Thus, you need to be aware of your own pattern if you wish to make a change. Have an overlook, then narrow down to identify which behavior or habit you want to replace. Once you know what should be different, pay higher attention to those parts and slowly replace them with whatever's better you want.
Change is inevitable, change is constant. We change to improve ourself and we're going to repeat this process for the rest of our lives.
